THE COLORS OF AUTUMN

Hello everyone! Inspired by the season and the rich colours autumn has, I decided to make a Copic CAS card using the beautiful Autumn In The Swing digi image. 

First I printed my image at the size corresponding the die I knew I was going to use. I quickly coloured the background in YR16 and YR18, without trying to blend the colours and without trying to avoid the leaves since I had planned to colour them in black to have some contrast with the orange. 

I then coloured my cute character in Copics. 

Skin: E21, 50, 51 Hair: E25, 59, YR23 Dress: E19, R56, YG01, 17 Swing: E25, 29, 34, 37, 59 Background: YR16, 18

To make my colours pop a bit more, I coloured the leaves in black. 

I then die cut my image with a Lawn Fawn Stitched die and I applied a bit of Distress Inks around the edges with a blending tool.

At last, I stamped a sentiment and added touches of gold with a gel pen in the black leaves and also a few dots on my orange background.
